Jakarta Youth Baseball & Softball
Jakarta Youth Baseball & Softball is a collaboration between JIS Academy and PakPok Baseball. Jakarta Youth Baseball is a hub for young athletes, dedicated to fostering a love for baseball/softball and honing fundamental skills. With a focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth, we provide a supportive platform for players to learn, compete, and create lasting memories. Join us on the diamond as we swing for the fences and slide into a world of fun and friendship! Jakarta Youth Baseball is open to boys & girls. All ability levels are welcome!
This semester students will have option of practicing one time or two times during the week and playing a game on the weekend
Programs:
Minor A students begin to receive pitches from a pitcher. If you want to learn how to play baseball, this is the league for you! - Players must be 10 years of age and under by May 31, 2026
Minor AA students refine their skills. There is a focus on teamwork and cooperation. - Players must be 12 years of age and under by May 31, 2026
Majors provide students with increased competition, involves base stealing, and emphasize good sportsmanship. Players must be 15 years of age and under by May 31, 2026
High School Baseball provide students with increased competition, involves base stealing, and emphasize good sportsmanship. - Players must be 17 years of age and under by May 31, 2026
High School Softball provides female athletes the opportunity to refine their skills in order to prepare them for IASAS! - Players must be 17 years of age and under by May 31, 2026
HS Baseball and Softball League will take place on Sundays from February to March 15. Game schedule will be posted once we confirm to run the league.
Please note: If we have at least 8 players, our team will participate in the league games.
If we have fewer than 8 players, the students are still welcome to join the practices only on Monday and Thursday
All participants should bring their own baseball/softball glove.
