The entire High School is buzzing with activities, from a raucous opening ceremony in the HS Gym to mental, physical, and artistic challenges that take place throughout our tropical Cilandak Campus.

Every year we honor our host country by celebrating Indonesia Week with students, teachers, and parents taking part in activities aimed to highlight the rich diversity of Indonesian culture.

Middle School Madness is a spirited event that sees teams of faculty and students, named after famous Indonesian volcanoes, compete in a series of challenges, from tug-of-war to water games where absolutely nobody stays dry.

Sponsored by the PTA, JIS Dragons from Early Years through High School, parents, faculty, staff and alumni get together to celebrate our school, play games, watch student performances, raise awareness for social causes, and have an all around fun time! 

Uniting Nations (UN) Day is a much-loved JIS tradition that goes back decades, taking place from Early Years to High School. Each division celebrates our rich diversity as an inclusive, multicultural school.

At the event, members of the JIS community speak on a theme, and the depth of knowledge and creative thinking on display always makes for a fascinating day with much food for thought.

Careers Day aims to provide an opportunity for our high school students to learn more about and deepen their understanding of a variety of professions available to them.

Every year in the High School we host the Dragon Awards. This evening is to recognize JIS High School students for their achievements and excellence in academics, community service, cultural programs, creative arts, and athletics.

JIS Elementary School students celebrate their love of books and reading every year with an entire week of fun-filled, book-themed booktivities.

We celebrate JIS Environment Day to take a moment to review and refocus our efforts in Environmental Stewardship while reflecting on how our actions can influence the world around us.

The Maker Faire is a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity, resourcefulness and a celebration of the Maker movement.
