Transportation
For many students, the school day starts when they get on the bus. JIS is happy to provide them with safe and reliable transportation.
As an international school in a bustling city such as Jakarta, we know exactly what it means to travel on and around its busy roads, and that sometimes, it can be a challenge. We also know that the destination is often more important than the journey. This is especially true for our students, who once they arrive on our green, lush campuses, get a world-class education.
For over 40 years, JIS has partnered with Blue Bird Group to provide transportation services to students living in 43 different areas throughout Jakarta.
Prior to registering, you will need to determine if you live in an area of service. Travel times to and from school may vary depending on where a student lives. Bus fees will depend on your child’s age/grade. The buses are cleaned daily and operated by experienced drivers.

After-School Buses
Late buses are available to take students home after participating in co-curricular or after-school activities. There is a separate registration process for the late bus.
