Schoolwide Regulations
As we return to campus we will continually update schoolwide parameters and regulations. As parents it is important for you to understand the overarching elements for the return to campus. Please take a moment to read the information below. Your division principal will share and update division specific information.

Campus Access
Campuses are closed to everyone except for students, faculty and staff, and essential personnel during school hours, from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, every day.
Entering and Exiting Campus
Students must enter the campus through the main entrances of each campus. Specific information about your child’s campus entry guidelines will come from the campus principal. Students are not allowed onto campus until 7:15 AM. Students may not come earlier and must go directly to designated areas at each division. Students must leave campus as soon as their on-campus portion of the school day is complete unless they wish to use the facilities. Only students who are on-campus for class during the day may stay after school. Students may not enter campus if they were not on campus for school during their designated days Monday through Friday.
Students under the age of 12 must be accompanied by their parents or guardians.
Campus Access During Non-School Hours
Starting September 4, 2021, the outdoor campus facilities at Cilandak, Pondok Indah, and Pattimura are available for families:
- 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM on Friday and 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday
- Family members who wish to use the JIS facilities and are over 12 years old they must show a copy of their vaccine card or the Pedulilindungi App to enter.
- Family members who are under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent who has a vaccine card.
- The Elementary campuses are not open from Monday - Friday, until further notice.
- These parameters will be changed after the first two weeks of school.
Third-party vendors may only access the campus in a limited area for delivery or pick up of materials.
For Students
Students in Middle and High School may stay on campus for after school facility use on their designated day of on-campus learning. The facilities are open for those students only for their respective day of learning, Monday through Friday until 6:00 PM.

Health and Safety
Our focus on health and safety is our collective social responsibility to one another and our community. Please read the full Health and Safety procedures for JIS here.
The Health Services department at each campus is open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily. The nurses are there to support all students, staff, and faculty. This may be for any medical reason.
We are currently working with medical clinics on the possibility of having a testing site on our campuses. At this time, parents will receive a phone call from the nurse when there has been exposure to COVID or when their child feels ill. In both these cases, Antigen testing at minimum must be administered to return to school.
